2. Scope
This policy applies to the CVio website and application at cvioai.com.
3. Data we collect
- Account information: email address and authentication identifiers.
- CV files you upload (PDF or DOCX).
- Structured CV data extracted from your files.
- Job descriptions you submit.
- Generated tailored CVs and cover letters.
- Interview preparation content and your mock-interview responses.
- Usage and technical logs (IP address, browser, timestamps, error reports).
- Billing records for purchases.
- Contact form submissions.
4. Purposes and legal bases
We process your data to provide the service (contract performance), to secure the service and prevent abuse (legitimate interest), to comply with tax and accounting law (legal obligation), and where applicable on the basis of your consent.
5. Processors
We rely on the following categories of processors to operate the service:
- Cloud hosting, database and file storage (Supabase, hosted in the EU).
- Edge hosting and content delivery (Cloudflare).
- Payment processing (Stripe).
- Transactional email delivery (operated through our hosting provider).
- AI inference for generating tailored content, scoring and interview prep, routed through the Lovable AI Gateway and underlying model providers (e.g. Google).
Processors act on our written instructions and only for the purposes described in this policy.
6. International transfers
Some processors may store or process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and as required for the purposes described above or by law. You may request deletion at any time via info@cvioai.com.
8. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, row-level security on the database, and private storage buckets with signed expiring file links. CV files are not publicly accessible.
9. Automated assessment
The CVio Fit Score is an advisory, automated assessment. It does not make hiring decisions and has no direct legal or similarly significant effect on you. You should review all generated output before use.
10. Model training
We do not use your CV content to train our own models. Third-party AI providers process your content under their published data-handling terms.
11. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Submit requests to info@cvioai.com.
